The Plymouth Gators season is here!
Want to have the time of your life this summer? Whether you live in Conshohocken, Plymouth, Lafayette Hill, Blue Bell, East and West Norriton, Whitpain, Norristown, Roxborough, Chestnut Hill, or other area neighborhoods, the Plymouth Swim Club is an easy to reach location with a dynamic swim team program for beginners and experienced swimmers alike.
Plymouth Gators swim team is part of the Suburban Swim League. The purpose of the program is to develop skills in the spirit of competition, swimming, teaching good sportsmanship, and providing a means of self-expression for those participating. Swimmers 18 and under compete in dual, tri and championship outdoor swim meets during the months of June and July. Although we love to race, our team does more than just swim laps — we are all about having fun! Highlights of the past seasons included tie-dying team t-shirts, a pancake breakfast, car wash, family spaghetti dinner and more!
The Gators are always happy to welcome new swimmers to the team. Participation is open to any child or youth able to swim one length of the pool in any stroke. A Plymouth Swim Club Membership or Associate Membership is required of all team participants. Meet-only registration for swimmers participating in year-round training programs is also available, contact us for more information on this option. Please see pscgators.swimtopia.com for further information on spring warm-ups and joining the team.

Announcing the addition of Dave Boyer to the Plymouth Gators coaching staff! Dave was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. His mom got him into swim lessons when he was six months old and after just a couple of months of learning she says that he could swim further than he could walk. He grew up swimming for the local summer league and swam year-round starting in high school. Like many swimmers who love the sport for its own sake, Dave didn’t set pool or team records but his personal best times improved every week. While he was in the Navy he swam for pleasure and exercise and when he was stationed in South Carolina he joined the Parris Island Masters team. Dave is a USA Swimming Coach and has been coaching area teams for five years. Outside of the summer season, Dave is the head coach for the PWAC girls team.
Coach Matt is completing his sophomore year at Bloomsburg University, majoring in exercise science. Matt has been swimming for 12 years — as a Gator since he was 6 years old! Matt has been an Assistant Coach at Plymouth for two years. His style is a great combination of fun and athleticism that inspires our younger swimmers.
Matt was on his high school Varsity team all four years where his 400 freestyle relay qualified for districts. He was awarded the senior boys high point award two years in a row for PSC. Specializing in sprint freestyle and butterfly, Matt has represented PSC at A Champs.
Jenna is a Nursing major and will be entering her Junior Year at James Madison University in Virginia. Jenna has been swimming since she was 7 years old, and has been a gator for 12 years now! She is on the Club Swim team at JMU and still loves the sport of swimming. Although this is her first year as a coach, she knows how the team functions, and is super excited to help out young swimmers and be apart of the coaching staff! Jenna was also on the PW high school swim team all four years of high school, and was a captain of the team her Senior Year. As a backstroker and freestyler, Jenna has represented the gators at A champs for a couple years now. She has been awarded the high point award for PSC multiple years in a row, and was also awarded the Lehrbaum award her last year swimming as a gator. She is excited to see what this season has in store!
A lifelong swimmer herself, young swimmers may know Emily from the winter season. Emily is a certified US Swimming Coach who has coached for the past year with PWAC and YST. Swimmers love Emily’s enthusiasm and positive attitude.
