The Plymouth Gators season is here!
Want to have the time of your life this summer? Whether you live in Conshohocken, Plymouth, Lafayette Hill, Blue Bell, East and West Norriton, Whitpain, Norristown, Roxborough, Chestnut Hill, or other area neighborhoods, the Plymouth Swim Club is an easy to reach location with a dynamic swim team program for beginners and experienced swimmers alike.
Plymouth Gators swim team is part of the Suburban Swim League. The purpose of the program is to develop skills in the spirit of competition, swimming, teaching good sportsmanship, and providing a means of self-expression for those participating. Swimmers 18 and under compete in dual, tri and championship outdoor swim meets during the months of June and July. Although we love to race, our team does more than just swim laps — we are all about having fun! Highlights of the past seasons included tie-dying team t-shirts, a pancake breakfast, car wash, family spaghetti dinner and more!
The Gators are always happy to welcome new swimmers to the team. Participation is open to any child or youth able to swim one length of the pool in any stroke. A Plymouth Swim Club Membership or Associate Membership is required of all team participants. Meet-only registration for swimmers participating in year-round training programs is also available, contact us for more information on this option. Please see pscgators.swimtopia.com for further information on spring warm-ups and joining the team.

Dave was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. His mom got him into swim lessons when he was six months old and after just a couple of months of learning she says that he could swim further than he could walk. He grew up swimming for the local summer league and swam year-round starting in high school. Like many swimmers who love the sport for its own sake, Dave didn’t set pool or team records but his personal best times improved every week. While he was in the Navy he swam for pleasure and exercise and when he was stationed in South Carolina he joined the Parris Island Masters team. Dave is a USA Swimming Coach and has been coaching area teams for ten years. Outside of the summer season, Dave is the head coach for the Triton swim team.
During the school year, Kelly (Saurman) Hungarter is a Physical Education teacher and Assistant Swim Coach at Abington High School. Kelly was a swimmer in the NCAA Division I Southeastern Conference as part of the University of South Carolina Swimming & Diving Team from 2006-2010. She is a USA Swimming Registered Coach. Kelly loves to share her knowledge and passion for swimming and healthy lifestyles to motivate those of all ages to strive for excellence both in and out of the pool.
